What Halloween does not consist of carving pumpkins? Carter was fascinated and Vance still did not want to touch the yucky insides of the pumpkin. So all night we had to keep taking pumpkin seeds out of Carter's mouth and had to keep trying to convince Vance to help with the whole process. Grandpa ended up carving Vance a Mickey Mouse pumpkin, Adam carved Carter's scary pumpkin, and I carved the large family pumpkin that looks like Frankenstein (at least I attempted to make it look like Frankenstein). Overall a fun night!!

Carter did not enjoy the whole process of dressing up. Even though the costume was basically a sweat suit in the shape of a dragon, he thoroughly despised being forced to wear such a thing. Luckily we was out in the first half hour of the evening and we had a cute sleeping dragon.

Mom: Vance what are you going to be for Halloween?
Vance: A lion and a pumpkin!
Mom: Can you roar like a lion?
Vance: RROOAARRR!

Costume courtesy of Grandma Walker. She made the tale, mane, tummy, and claws! He was so cute and roared all night. He LOVED trick or treating at the trunk or treat on Friday and around the neighborhood on Saturday. As soon as the candy hit the bucket it was, "Mom, lets go to a different one!"

My cute lion and dragon!! Ready to go to Trunk or Treat! Again notice the crusty look on Carter's face.

The family. Although I really don't enjoy all the scaring and candy of Halloween, I really do enjoy being able to dress up however you want and no one questions why you are walking around in your high school homecoming dress with a tiara on your head. Fun times!
