Who's allowed in your fort?

Vance has started to build forts. Most of the time the fort is very simple. He takes his blanket and puts it over his head and calls it being in his fort. A few times, with the help of Daddy, we have had some cool forts. Yesterday he put his blanket over Carter's toy and asked if Carter could come in his fort. He and Carter played in the fort for a good 10 minutes! Carter even enjoyed himself until the blanket fell off into his face. And I am proud to say that Vance even wanted me to come in his fort with them! We had a ball. Oh the days of forts! I am sure we will get more elaborate as time goes on.

It's like he just can't possibly get any cuter, and then he does.

This reminds me of a date you had in Southridge that ended with watching a movie in a blanket fort in our living room. You have taught your kids well! :) So cute!

I was just about to say that Tyson wants to build forts! Funny how we thought the same thing!

Soon Reed will be building forts too! In fact he might like it now. You should build one tonight.

what is it about forts that make them so fun, love it :) we would have a perma fort at our house if it didn't take all the blankets in the house to build it and sometimes the kitchen chairs as well.
